In a Retail Management course, we worked in groups to create a pop-up shop from concept to execution. My group developed a pop-up for BAUM, Shisiedo's new sustainable brand, in New York City. This project taught me how to critically evaluate factors that affect strategic decisions in branding and retail strategy while also developing the skills to successfully make and analyze a business plan for BAUM.

My contribution to this project included an in-depth competitive brand and pop-up shop location analysis. However, I was also instrumental in creating our promotinonal plan and launch party. The takeaways from this opportunity thereby improved my understanding of the techniques, strategies and regulations required to open a temporary business.
