As part of a Product Development course, we were asked to create a new product line for an existing brand within a group setting. We found that it would be a successful venture to introduce a furniture line to Kate Spade. We believed that with their color palette and fun designs, it would be profitable to introduce rugs, couches and headboards.

In this project I focused on multiple areas, with each passing section becoming more interesting. I understood the importance of consumer segmentation, knowing a brand's strengths and weaknesses, developing a strong creative brief and worked on a quality and consumer testing plan. However, my biggest take away from this was developing our long-term integrated marketing plan. This delved into scheduling, budgeting, assessment strategies and making creative mock-ups to improve sales performance.
